Flash! – Dan Aku Tidak Tidur

Februari 8, 2010 · 1 Komentar

Aku bosan.

Jembatan Ampera - Ampera Bridge

Location of the show itself is under Jembatan Ampera, near the famous Musi River. This afternoon I eat near by Musi river. The menu is grilled chicken fried rice. The taste was different from the usual fried rice that I met in Jakarta. Even so, I rate it’s still good.

Escaping From The Routine – Jakarta History Museum

Februari 2, 2010 · & Komentar

Tuesday, February 2nd 2010

Sssttt… today my big boss going to Surabaya along with other board of directors. So, me and my office friends had a sweet escape. Yeaayyy! Oh ya, my friends who join in this “escaping event” are Mba Ida, Mba Hermi, Mba Mike and Ayu. Just for your information, all of them are Secretary of Board of Director. Hmm.. That’s what I call naughty secretary. Hahahaha. Kidding here!

Our destination is Museum Fatahillah, addressed in Taman Fatahillah Street No. 2, West Jakarta. After did zuhur, about 1 PM we are ran out smoothly from our office building. Hihiy. We decided to take Trans Jakarta Busway.

Trans Jakarta Busway

Our starting point is busway shuttle at Bank Indonesia. As you know, it spent only IDR 3.500 for each. Less then 10 minutes, our busway line ended up in busway shuttle located at Kota. Next, we did on foot to reach Museum Fatahillah. Don’t be worry, it’s not so far from the shuttle. Except if you hungry, maybe you gonna feel it’s a bit far. Hehehe.

And… Here we are, Museum Fatahillah which is also known as Jakarta History Museum.

Jakarta History Museum

Lunch! Yup, lunch was our very first agenda. Hahahaha. Then we go to a spot where many people selling food. You just have to choose. They have Burger, Gado-gado, Mie Ayam, Bakso, Somay, and another kind of food. We spent about IDR 7.000 until IDR 10.000 for the food and also beverage.

Lunch - Mba Ida

Lunch - Ayu

Lunch! - Mba Mike & Mba Hermi (Do u see the smiling face?)

In the yard of the museum so easily find Ontel Bicycle that you can rent. Too bad, we don’t have enough time to enjoy this stuff. Hey, did you ever hear that the front yard of this museum was the site execution for a man who dared to resist the VOC? That’s true, people (According to my History teacher at High School. Hehehehe).

Wanna take a ride?

The Execution

Done with lunch, we were straight to the Museum. Guess, how much the “bill”?? It’s only IDR 1.000 for each. Wow! It’s even cheaper than Trans Jakarta which brought us to be there.

The Ticket

The building of this Museum was built in 1710 as a city hall of Batavia. Jakarta History Museum, opened in 1974, displays objects from the prehistoric times of the city, the founding of Jayakarta in 1527, and through Dutch colonization from the 16th century onwards until Indonesia’s Independence in 1945.

This old City Hall of Batavia occupies the site of its two predecessors. The current building of fine Dutch architecture was completed in 1710 and once served many civic and judiciary functions. Beneath the front portico lie some cells which were used as dungeons. The museum took over the premises in 1974 and offers a fine glimpse into the city’s colonial past. Thirty-seven ornate rooms display Dutch furniture, old maps, antiquities and Dutch East India Company (V.O.C.) memorabilia, recreating the atmosphere prevalent during the Dutch era.

In one corner of the museum I had met with school children who had come from outside Jakarta (Pardon me, I forget exactly from where). Interesting for me, they have Indonesian tour guides who speak English.

Student

Once again, too bad, because a limited time (Museum closed at 4 PM), we did not get a chance to see the entire contents of the museum. Well, we gonna go again in other day.

Out side the museum building, I saw two old cars. We took a picture with one of those car.

With the Old Car

With the Old Car and With Me

Finally, we back to the office, again with Trans Jakarta Busway. While waiting for the busway, Mba Hermi’s leg hurt because the shuttle’s door suddenly closed. (Frankly, we were forgetting that the door can automatic closed. Hehehehe).

Mba Hermi's leg which is hurt by the door. Hehehe.

However, It was fun could visit one of  famous museum in Jakarta (hopefully in Indonesia also). Fun! It’s like playing with a time machine and try to concoct, to imagine what happened in that place in the past. We still have another museum to be catch, gurls! Hahahaha. See ya!

Enjoying The Pluralism in SINGKAWANG Photo Exhibition – JADE Of EQUATOR

Januari 31, 2010 · Tinggalkan sebuah Komentar

Me (photo by www.wanitaperkasa.blogspot.com)

It was cloudy Saturday when I went to Galeri Salihara at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Since a week ago there is a Photo Exhibition named SINGKAWANG photo Exhibition – JADE Of EQUATOR. The first question when I heard about this photo exhibition is are they gonna show photos of Singkawang people?? Or what?? What makes Singkawang into a jade of Equator which is mean Indonesia (Indonesia passed by the equator line, you at least ever heard about that, don’t you?) , In bahasa, Jade means Giok.

Festival SINGKAWANG travel guide. I got it after filling the guest book

Flags - Symbol of Greatness

Arrived at Salihara I saw many flags, and it’s not ordinary flags. If you ever watched Chinese colossal movie, if there are any war scene you gonna see some soldier hold colorful flag with Chinese font on it, yup, I saw that kind of flags at Salihara. Not only those flags, I also saw distinctive Tionghoa red lantern. Where’s the exhibition? It was in second floor.

The symbol of Greatness in some corner

Red lantern

After fill the guest book, I’m in and found about 20 photos (I’m not really sure about how much it was, because I didn’t count it). So, the photo exhibition present photograph of Singkawang in various angles, especially it’s richness of art and culture which is being the charm of Singkawang itself. Eight professional famous photographer made those photos. They are Jay Subyakto, Yori Antar, Enrico Soekarno, Sigi Wimala, John Suryaatmadja, Sjaiful Boen, Asfarinal St. Rumah Gadang, and Oscar Motulloh.

Singkawang is a small town area of 50,400 hectares with a distance of approximately 147 kilometers from the provincial capital of West Kalimantan, Pontianak. Singkawang name has become a popular worldwide, one of them through a very unique festival, called Cap Go Meh Singkawang Festival. This Festival is a representation of a mixture of rituals, culture, and art from the Chinese ethnics which is acculturated with Dayak and Malay.

Through photos in this exhibition we can see some people dressed like the Chinese royal kingdom costume. People mean not only the old one, but also the young one, including the kid. In the center of the exhibition room there was two Chinese chairs and some Chinese weapon. Like i told you, It just like in colossal Chinese movie, folks.

Centre of Exhibition Room

Still, centre of the room

Some photos show to us “Tatung”. Tatung is someone who has a particular gift of supernatural power. They would line up on the streets of the city on the highlight of this festival, casting away evil spirits by demonstrating invisible forces, down to the magnificent and solemn offering aisle. I will make it simple, they stuck a sharp objects into their bodies and they still fine.

Tatung's Parade by Jay Subyakto, Yori Antar, Enrico Soekarno, Sigi Wimala, John Suryaatmadja, dan Sjaiful Boen (Photo by www.wanitaperkasa.blogspot.com)

SINGKAWANG Photo exhibition reminds me about existence of pluralism in my country, Indonesia. Pluralism has “something” to feel, to be understand, has “something” to enjoy. How can I’m not proud, realizing my country has variety of unique beauty?!

This SINGKAWANG photo exhibition will be held also in Stadion Kridasana, Singkawang, Kalimantan Barat on Februari 13th – 27th 2010.

See ya Salihara! (Photo by www.wanitaperkasa.blogspot.com)

Shall We Have Some Chocolate?

Januari 24, 2010 · & Komentar

Holla!

After some posts about the money machine a.k.a ATM, let’s talk about something else, folks. Oh ya, pardon, have you check your account today? Hihihi. Sorry, I’m kidding.

It’s Sunday afternoon when I’m writing this post. Well I suddenly imagine a

Cocoa, the origin of chocolate

cup of hot chocolate (Because I’m at home right now, don’t have any hot chocolate either, so I just made a glass of hot chocolate milk). I like chocolate and I love hot chocolate. Since few years ago, one of my best friend and me has something maybe we can call it as hot chocolate ritual. Hahahaha. Yup, we do falling in love with hot chocolate. Our Favorite place to do the ritual is Dunkin Donut near by Pondok Gede Mall. Or sometimes we also go to J’CO at Pondok Gede Mall. That place not so far from our house.

Classic Hot Chocolate

When I go to a restaurant or café I will loved to try if they put hot chocolate in their menu. Umm.. When I was a child my parents didn’t allowed me to eat chocolate. Another sickness in me cause shortness of breath if I eat chocolate (any kind of it). I have bronchitis, so when I eat chocolate it will be sticky and stuck in the throat channel or channels into my lungs. Not only chocolate to be honest. I didn’t allowed enjoying ice cream either. Until I’m in senior high school, I don’t know why but my body began to accept chocolate and ice cream.

Chocolate Bar

Chocolate is produced from cocoa (Theobroma cacao) is expected to grow initially in the northern Amazon region to Central America. Maybe up to Chiapas, the southernmost part of Mexico. The first civilizations inhabiting the Meso-American region was known tree “kakawa” whose fruits are consumed as a beverage xocolātl meaning bitter drink. According to them, this beverage should be consumed every day, for some reason. However, chocolate also seems to be a symbol of prosperity.

Do u like this, dear reader?

How to present it was not arbitrary. By holding a liquid container is at chest height and poured into another container on the ground, the expert presenters can create thick foam, part of what makes the drink so valuable. This foam is produced by the cocoa fat (cocoa butter) but sometimes also added extra foam.

Some others said hot chocolate might have enjoyed since 3000 years ago. Communities in Central America that became its pioneers. This can be traced from the ancient pottery-pottery found in the Ulua Valley, northern Honduras. Nuance slightly bitter taste and benefits of cocoa beans has made raw materials remain in European cuisine. Seeds, with the incomparable taste, has conquered the pastry shops, candy, and chocolate for the whole world. Most prominent in consuming chocolate comes from the Spanish people, which sweeten the chocolate drink with sugar cane.

The unique thing about chocolate in my eyes, it was made people confused is this beverage or food? Church of the nobles in Catholic circles deliberately to consider whether chocolate is a beverage or food – related considerations fasting restrictions – and if taking consideration would violate the law. According to the Jesuits who trade in these commodities forward, chocolate is a beverage, which means to drink, and not a food. While the opposing parties argue that chocolate is too nutritious if considered as a beverage.

Hummm... it's look delicious, isn't it?

Well folks, for me, I’ll make it simple. If I get chocolate bar or solid chocolate I’ll say I do eat chocolate. But when I get liquid chocolate like hot chocolate or cold chocolate, so I’ll say I do drink chocolate. As simple as that.

Chocolate cakes!

Okay. Don’t forget about the health side. This is the fact. Because of the high sugar content, chocolate candy bars contain a high energy, and consume it to excess can lead to being overweight and increased tooth decay. But the content of theobromine (an alkaloid compounds that are mild stimulant) and caffeine in chocolate stimulates the central nervous system and blood vessels. This is why chocolate has the ability to eliminate fatigue and

I want this one either

exhaustion, pushed the production of digestive system enzymes, and urinary tract smooth.

Two other substances contained in chocolate-anadamid and phenylehtylamin, which is also in the pot and morpin-affecting brain centers associated with feelings of pleasure. There is no reason to worry about addiction, because the amount is very little substance to cause euphoria (a sense of excitement and happiness that excessive).

Want some?

Many studies have shown that eating chocolate can lower cholesterol unhook even between good and bad cholesterol (LDL and HDL), especially HDL. The percentage of cocoa in a chocolate bar higher, the greater influence, because it was dark chocolate (dark chocolate) is a better option (dark chocolate is also a powerful antioxidant).

Hot chocolate with cinnamon is just… great. Love it. Hot chocolate with donut, cup cakes, chess cakes, Hummm… it would be very nice. And Hot chocolate with friends, best friends, lover, or lovely sister (or brother) it’s a blessing ;) Time to grateful.

Hmm.. I’ll have my hot chocolate tomorrow maybe. Wanna join with me, folks?

Wanna enjoy it with me, friends?

BI: Penyalahgunaan ATM Dapat Dikendalikan

Januari 22, 2010 · Tinggalkan sebuah Komentar

Still About ATM things! Happy reading! ^_^

SARAN AMAN Ber-ATM DARI MANTAN PEMBOBOL REKENING

Januari 22, 2010 · & Komentar

Dapet dari millis kantor nih guys! Semoga berguna :)

Rinciannya:
* BCA: 200 nasabah dibobol dg kerugian +/1 Rp 5 miliar
* BNI: 19 nasabah dengan kerugian sekitar Rp 200 juta
* BRI: 3 nasabah dengan kerugian sekitar Rp 48,5 juta.
